Ghanaian striker William Opoku Mensah is elated after making his unofficial debut for Rwandan top-flight side Mukura Victory.
Opoku who was signed in midweek featured for the second team of the Southern Province based club in a friendly game at the Kigali Stadium on Wednesday against APR.[ads2]
Despite Mukura Victory being annihilated by four goals to nothing, Opoku was one of the brightest spots as he tormented the APR FC back four throughout the game.
” It was a good exercise for us and I am particularly happy to make my debut. I had a good game and the board commended me afterwards.” Opoku told Rwandareport.com[ads3]
“I am looking up to the league game on Saturday and I hope to mark it with a win.”
Mukura Victory will welcome Sunrise FC to Stade Huye on Saturday for match day 1 of the Rwandan Premier League.
