Matthew Kelvin Andoh scored a perfect strike for Asante Kotoko, as they defeated Kano Pillars 2-0 in the CAF Champions League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium today.
The 24-year old winger opened the scoreline for the Porcupines as early as the third minute in the cagey encounter.
His early goal propelled the Porcupine Warriors to go ahead and score the second goal through Emmanuel Gyamfi in the 79th minute, which was the decider.
The 2-0 victory has enabled Asante Kotoko to qualify to the last stage of the preliminary round with 4-3 on aggregates.
Kotoko will now face Etoile du Sahel in the last qualifying round of the CAF Champions League after eliminating Kano Pillars.
