Asante Kotoko defender Wahab Adams has been voted as the team’s supporters player for the month of May.
The buoyant defender was voted the best player for the month of May by the supporters following his spectacular performance for the Porcupine Warriors in the NC Special Competition.
He was announced the winner after the team’s NC Special Competition tier 2 duel against Berekum Arsenals at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 9, 2019.
Wahab Adams received a plaque from the supporters and an undisclosed amount to appreciate his efforts for the club in the aforesaid month.
Meanwhile, Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s dream of representing Ghana in the CAF inter-club competitions next season nears achievable as the team have qualified to the semifinals of the both NC Special Competitions tier 1&2 and will face bitterest rival Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in the semi-finals of the tier 1 Special Competition on Sunday, June 16, 2019.
