The Youth and Sports Ministry has expressed its condolence to the demise of about eight Ghanaian footballers who died in a fatal car accident at Offinso in the Ashanti Region on Saturday, September 19, 2020.
As Kyfilla.com earlier reported, a colts club in Offinso African Vision Soccer Academy travelled to Afrancho for their colts football registration ahead of the upcoming league season and were hit by an accident on their return.

Six died instantly and the others have to be rushed to the hospital for treatments where two were pronounced dead later on.
Four were in critical conditions and are receiving treatments at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital according information.

About twenty-four are also receiving treatments at the St. Patrick Hospital in Offinso.
