The Organizing Committee of the Normalization Committee Special Competition has announced the date and venue for the final of the NC Special Competition tier one.
The final will see Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Karela United battling for the giant trophy and a chance to represent Ghana at the next season’s CAF Champions League.
Kotoko secured a ticket to the final after beating arch rivals, Hearts of Oak in the semis via 4:5 on shootouts while Diawisie Taylor’s late minute goal at the Obuasi Lenclay Stadium declined Ashgold a chance to make it to the final.
Speaking to Takoradi based Kingdom FM, the Public Relations Officer for the Organizing Committee of the NC Special Competition, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has disclosed that, the final will be played on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium with 3:00PM as the kick-off time.
“The final of the NC Special Competition tier one between Kotoko and Karela United will be played on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3:00PM”, Boakye Ansah confirmed.
