Sekondi Eleven Wise have confirmed to play bitterest rival Sekondi Hasaacas in their centenary anniversary cup match on Sunday, April 14, 2019.
The match which will be held at the Sekondi Gyendu Park is to grace their hundred years celebration which commence on Friday, April 5.
The ‘Western Show Boys’ initially planned to host a foreign team on the aforesaid date to grace the anniversary and later confirmed Hearts of Oak interest after the foreign team deal fell through.
Management have finally announced arch rivals Sekondi Hasaacas as the opponent for the cup match after a thorough discussions between the two parties.
The 1977 Ghana Premier League Champions will attain hundred years on April 9, 2019 and have outlined their programme line up to commemorate the centenary achievement.
The team have also named Spice FM’s Francis Heman as their immediate Head of Communications till the anniversary comes to a successful end.
