Ghana Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club were on the verge of signing Burkina Faso forward Songne Yacouba but the deal fell through.
The former Asante Kotoko striker agreed a personal terms with Medeama as reported by Kyfilla.com but the deal hit a snag.
According to reliable source, Medeama Sporting Club proposed a sum of $30,000 for the season with $1,000 as monthly salary and other bonuses of which both the agent of Songne Yacouba and Medeama bankroller Moses Armah Parker agreed.

But when the Burkina Faso goal poacher landed in Tarkwa, he opted to meet Moses Armah Parker personally for a discussion.
Per a close source, Songne Yacouba quoted $100,000 from Medeama before signing the contract of which Moses Armah Parker rejected and the deal was called off since the player too was not ready to reduce his demands.
It is believed that agent of Songne Yacouba have mandated an agency called Sport Lite Consult to look for a club for the 28-year old outside Africa but because of the Coronavirus outbreak, they wanted the player to play in the Ghanaian league for at least a season before moving abroad.
Kyfilla.com understands, already the agency are in talks with clubs in Dubai and Saudi Arabia hoping to land a deal for the striker.

But source divulges that Medeama are willing to sign the player before the closure of the transfer window on Monday, April 13 should he agree the offer from the club.
Songne Yacouba is currently unattached after his three year stay at Asante Kotoko came to an end earlier this month.
