Ghana defender Nuhu Musah has departed from the Black Stars camp in the United Arab Emirates to Switzerland due to injury.
The 22-year old who was among the Black Stars 29 provisional squad preparing for the upcoming AFCON 2019 in Egypt next month, has been granted the permission to travel back to Switzerland at the request of his club team, St. Gallen.
The former West Africa Football Academy defender, picked up an injury during the Black Stars training on last Wednesday in Dubai.
Nuhu was examined by the Black Stars medical team and was later permitted to return to Switzerland for further assessment, accompanied by Dr. Patrick Ofori who is the Black Stars psychologist.
His absence has brought the Black Stars provisional squad to 28, preparing for the tournament in Egypt.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars will engage South Africa and Namibia in a friendly before the squad would be prune down to 23 for the main tournament.
