Nigeria have announced final 23-member squad for the AFCON 2019 which will hosted by Egypt.
Head coach for the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr named the final 23-member squad for the 32nd edition of the prestigious tournament on the African continent.
Middleborough United midfielder John Obi Mikel alongside Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City, Stoke City sensation, Oghenekaro Etebo and Arsenal enforcer Alexander Iwobi made the cut for the main tournament which kickstart in June 21 and end at July 19, 2019.
The Super Eagles have been paired with Guinea, Madagascar and Burundi in group B. Nigeria will take on Burundi in their opening game on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Alexanderia Stadium.
