Newcastle United are reportedly in talks with Leicester City to sign versatile defender Daniel Amartey.

The 24-year old Ghanaian international is yet to feature for Leicester City this season since returning back from an ankle injury.

It’s been reported that, Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce wants the former FC Copenhagen versatile defender at the St. James Park to add quality to his defence.

But Newcastle United can only sign Amartey on loan in January due to issues relating to the fundings of the club.
Daniel Amartey joined Leicester City in 2016 and has capped 46 times, scoring a goal as a defender.
