Medeama Sporting Club continued their home dominance as they nailed down Berekum Chelsea 2:0 at the Tarkwa NA Aboso on Thursday afternoon.
Goals from Awudu Tahiru and Agyenim Boateng were enough for the Tarkwa based side as they keep semi-final qualification dreams alive.
The Yellow and Mauves were dominant in the first department of the game with Agyenim Boateng, Justice Blay missing an early minutes glaring opportunities.
The home side continued to put pressure on the visitors to get the opener but Chelsea maintained their composure.
Finally, Awudu Tahiru placed the home side ahead before the recess of the game with an easy finish from a close range in the 23rd minutes.
Medeama Sporting Club returned from the break with more energy and resilience to find the back of the net again.
