The Normalization Committee has confirmed a new gate proceeds sharing format for the tier 1 of it Special Competition semi-finals.
According to the Normalization Committee, both Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko will pocket 45% each of the gate proceeds from their semi-final clash with the Normalization Committee to rely on the remaining 10%.
The new gate proceeds sharing format will also be applied in the other semi-final duel between Karela United and Obuasi Ashantigold Sporting Club which will be played on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
This means that, the Hearts of Oak clash against bitterest rival Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 16, 2019 which was reported to have been put on hold ad has attracted lots of controversies will now be played with both teams to amass 45% each of the gate proceeds.
The winner of the Special Competition tier one automatically lands a ticket to represent Ghana in the next season’s CAF Champions Cup.
