Kumasi based Fox FM have reported that, the Normalization Committee made a total of GH¢ 335,000 from the gate proceeds in tier 1 semi-final clash between Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on last Sunday.
The game which was full of fireworks saw the Porcupine Warriors beating the Continental Club Masters 4:5 on penalty shootouts after 1:1 in the regulation period.
Kyfilla.com understands, both Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko raked a sum of GH¢ 98,000 each with the Normalization Committee pocketing a reported sum of GH¢ 21,000 with 27,272 tickets sold out of the printed 37,000.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will battle for a next season’s CAF Champions League slot with Karela United in the finals of the NC Special Competition tier one scheduled for Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
