Black Maidens striker Mukarama Abdulai has presented her awards she won at the last year’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup to President Akufo-Addo.
The Northern Ladies sensation paid a courtesy call on President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House on June, 20, 2019 to present to him her golden boot and bronze ball awards that she won in the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup held in Uruguay last year.

President Akufo-Addo urged the Black Maidens captain to continue working harder for Ghana.
Sports Minister Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah after the meeting, presented a cheque of GH¢30, 000 to Mukarama Abdulai on behalf of President Akufo-Addo.

Mukarama Abdulai was part of the Black Queens squad that went to the 2019 WAFU Zone B Championship in Egypt where the team placed third with Nigeria’s Super Falcons winning the ultimate.
Present at the meeting was the Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Asiamah, Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Francis Oti-Akenteng, Hon Mariam Iddrisu ,MCE Sagnarigu, officials from her club Northern Ladies and Director General of the National Sports Authority Prof. Peter Twumasi.
