The Ghana FA Executive Council elections has been held successfully at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Centre in Accra today.

The new Ghana FA Executive Council Members have been reduced from 23 to 12 with the Premier League division having 5 reps whiles division one league will boast of 3 reps and 2 slots for the ten regional football associations chairmen.

The remaining slot will go to the Ghana FA President and a woman representative.

The woman representative slot went to founder of Fabulous Ladies Madam Habiba Atta Forson who accumulated 8 votes to top the elections whiles Evelyn Nsiah Asare bagged 7 votes with Rosalind Amoh having just a vote whiles Edna Yekeh pulled a zero vote.
The RFA slot went to Eastern Region FA Chairman, Linford Boadu Asamoah whiles Central Region FA boss Robert Duncan and Salifu Zida from the Upper East failed to break a tie after three attempts of voting. An elections will be held on Friday for the two to determine who win the final RFA slot on the Executive Council.

The division one league slots went to Young Apostles FC CEO Samuel Anim Addo, Randy Abbey of Hearts of Lions and Nzema Kotoko CEO Mark Addo.

Asante Kotoko CEO George Amoako alongside Dr. Toni Aubynn, Frederick Acheampong, Kingsley Osei Bonsu and Nana Oduro Sarfo won the premiership slot with Hearts of Oak CEO Fredrick Moore alongside Aduana Stars CEO Albert Commey failing to secure a slot.

The winner of the Ghana FA Presidential seat on October 25 automatically complete the twelfth candidate for the Executive Council.
