Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey has returned to the pitch after eight months of nursing a broken ankle.
The 24-year old returned to action for Leicester City in their preseason friendly against Scunthorpe on last Tuesday.
The defender who due to his versatility can play at the defensive midfield role when the need arises, came off the bench to play his first preseason game for the Foxes as they pipped Scunthorpe 1:0 courtesy a goal from Ayoze Perez.
Daniel Amartey sustained an ankle injury during Leicester City premier league game against Westham United in October 2018 which saw him missing the chance to represent Ghana at the AFCON 2019 in Egypt.
His return to the pitch comes as a good news to the Foxes who are preparing for the next league season.
Daniel Amartey is expected to feature in Leicester City preseason game on Tuesday against Cambridge United.
