The Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has blasted the playing body and technical team of the club for their recent abysmal performance .
Asante Kotoko loss 1:2 to Division one side Asokwa Deportivo in the MTN FA Cup round 64 stage in obuasi last sunday.
Prior to that ,the team loss 1:0 to Aduana stars in Dormaa where the coach started the game with 10 players instead of the normal 11 players.

In an audio circulating in the local media, the executive chairman was heared expressing his displeasure with the recent perfomance of the club citting their 2:1 defeat to Division one side Asokwa Deportivo as unaccepteble and that anyone who is not ready to be with the club can put in a request and leave.
” l will not beg any player or coach to stay with kotoko and i wont sit down for you (players) to play your stupid football for people to ruin insults on me because i also have kids.’
“I should have cancelled your trip to London to face Hearts of oak if I knew this is how you will behave.

“He Camarat (owner of Asokwa Deportivo) doesn’t even have 100 cedis to give to his players. he buys porridge (koko) and they all share to eat. That’s their only motivation to play .
You all here are paid so well than them,then you allow these small boys to beat you and you call your self professionals.
” l dont care dissolving the entire team, i can dissolve the whole team , sack all of you and start afresh. I dont mind.
“This club is not a useless club ,it is a team with history . This stupid and village attitude is the reason you cannot play in Europe”
Meanwhile Asante Kotoko is expected to honor their week 12 Ghana Premier league match against Bechem utd at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday 28th February, 2020 at 7pm due to closure of the Kumasi Sports Stadium by the NSA to get it in shape for the 6th March Celebration.
