Karela United head coach, Johnson Smith says his outfit will beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the finals of the NC Special Competition tier one regardless of the venue.
According to the astute tactician, there is no team in the country currently better than his outfit and his players are equally good as that of Asante Kotoko which makes his team eligible to sink the Porcupines for a ticket at the next season’s CAF Champions League.
“I have trained my players and they have gained enough experience so if they like let’s play the game in heaven we will beat Kotoko”, Smith told Otec FM.
” No team in Ghana is better than us (Karela United), we are ready to play anywhere the Normalization Committee tells us to even if we should play in Heaven. We respect Kotoko, they are a big and one of the oldest team in Ghana but we are never afraid of them, because the players playing for Kotoko are equally the same as Karela players”, he concluded.
Meanwhile, the finals has been slated for Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium with the winner getting the right to represent Ghana at the next season’s CAF Champions League.
