Nigeria Professional Football League superhouse, Kano Pillars are expected to arrive in Ghana today ahead of Asante Kotoko duel.
The Kano based side defeated Asante Kotoko 3:2 in the first-leg of CAF Champions League at the Sani Abacha Sports Stadium and are looking forward for a positive result against Kotoko in Kumasi.
Kyfilla.com understands, the 36-man Kano Pillars contingent will touch down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra around 9:20am and will be connected to the afternoon to Kumasi.
Coach Ibrahim Musah’ side are expected to land in Kumasi around 1:50PM for the reverse fixture of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
Also, officials for the match, Referee Djindo Louis Houngnande and his compatriots Gbemassiadan Narcicce Kouton, Eric Anyimavk Ulrich and Alfadel Adegnika would arrive in Accra at 1:20pm.
According to their traveling schedules, the officials would be in Kumasi after 4pm.
The Liberian Match Commissioner, Andy Quamie would be the last to arrive as he would be in Accra by 4:30pm and would proceed to Kumasi with the Deputy Accra Representative and Head of Protocol for the game, Nana Kwame Dankwah at 7pm.
The match has been slated for Sunday, August 25 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
