According to Toure, Kotoko is very dear to his heart and would love to return to the team after his stay with Congolese giant AS Vita Club comes to an end.
He believed a combination with compatriot Songne Yacouba at the Asante Kotoko attack will be a disastrous for any team that come up against the Porcupines.

” I will be very happy to play for Kotoko again after my contract with AS Vita Club expires though other clubs have approached me”, the 32-year old told Ashh FM.
” I’m strong and physically fit that’s why I’m able to play and score more goals in any team I move to”
“A combination of Ahmed Simba Toure and Songne Yacouba would be fire for Kotoko”, he added.
Ahmed Toure, however urged Asante Kotoko supporters to travel to Ivory Coast and support the club in their second-leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff round against San Pedro, a game he thinks it will be very difficult for the Porcupine Warriors.

“The game would be very tough for Kotoko though they are going with a goal advantage, but I will urge all Kotoko supporters to go and support the team because it’s the last game to enter the money zone of the CAF Confederation Cup.
