Ghanaian international John Sam says he prefers playing for Hearts of Oak than Asante Kotoko.
The former Future Stars playmaker indicated that even though a deal from Asante Kotoko is welcome, joining the Continental Club Masters would be a dream come true.
The 21-year old who previously played for Polo Academy in Accra before moving to Europe, in an exclusive interview with Kyfilla.com, believes Kim Grant is doing marvelously well at Hearts of Oak by blending both the experienced and the youthful players to produce a tantalizing side and he has a young player would love to join the Rainbow side.
“I was once an Hearts of Oak fan and has been a dream to play for the team now that am a professional player”, he exclusively told Kyfilla.com in an interview.
“Am open to Asante Kotoko offer but I prefer playing for Hearts of Oak because the head coach (Kim Grant) has done well by blending both the experienced and the inexperienced players to form a formidable side. He is very good in building up young footballers”, John Sam added during the interview.
John Sam spent seven years in Thailand and last played for lower tier side Nakhonpathom United where he capped 32 league matches, scoring twelve goals with sixteen assists as a midfielder in last season.
