Accra Hearts of Oak have broken camp for five weeks after exiting from the Normalization Committee Special Competition tier 1.
The head coach of the team, Kim Grant has given the playing team a five week rest which start today, June 19, 2019. The players are expected to report for camping on Monday, June 29, 2019.
Hearts of Oak saw their dream of representing Ghana at next season’s CAF Champions League shuttered after losing to bitterest rival Kumasi Asante Kotoko on last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Continental Club Masters were eliminated from the tier 1 of the NC Special Competition after losing 4:5 on penalty shootouts after 1:1 in regulation.
