Hasaacas Ladies will be embarking on a demonstration against the Normalization Committee in demand of the Special Competition prize money.
The team led by coach Abdul Yusif Basigi clamped Ampem Darkoa Ladies 3:2 at the El Wak Sports Stadium on April 15, 2019 in the Women’s Special Competition final to clinch the ultimate for the very first time.
But it’s pathetic to know that, after almost two months of winning the competition, the prize money which was GHC 50,000 has not been paid to the team.
With this, a copper-bottom source has disclosed that, the playing body, technical bench and the management team will hit the principal streets of Sekondi-Takoradi on a massive demonstration in demand of their money from the Dr. Kofi Amoah led Normalization Committee.
According to the source, the Normalization Committee asked the management of the team to seek for a loan to settle the playing body with an assurance that the prize money will hit the account in no time soon but currently in hot waters as the time for the loan approaches.
The Normalization Committee has not even communicated with the team to explain why the cash has delayed which has triggered the decision to finally hit the streets in demand for the money.
Meanwhile, the management of the team have assured to communicate to the media the date to embark on the much anticipated demonstration.
