The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has, indefinitely, suspended its administrative manager, Farida Ayishatu Iddriss over gross disrepect to authority.
A statement signed by the General -Secretary of the committee, Mohammed Sahnoon, indicate that Farida Ayishatu Iddriss has been handed an indefinite suspended for her numerous indiscipline behaviors as the administrative manager of the committee despite several cautions from her superiors.
Farida Iddriss has been accused of traveling to the committee’s meetings on several occasions without the knowledge of the President and the General-Secretary, an act which is considered to be against the regulations of the committee.[ads2]
In a statement dated February 28, the General Secretary of the committee deemed the behaviors of Farida Ayishatu Iddriss as “gross violation of your terms of engagement”, “gross disrespect of authority”, “lack of discipline and gross insubordination.”
Mr. Sahnoon stated in the statement that “a final decision on your status will be conveyed to you after the GOC Board has met.”
