This means the government for the next six months will be injecting GH¢1,440,000.00 or $288,000.00 as allowances to the Women’s Premier League players.
This is to help ease the financial burden on clubs since football in the country was halted in March 15 due to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus.
The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) was established under the Youth Employment Act 2015 (Act 887) to empower young people to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and sustainable development of the nation.
Meanwhile the 2019/20 football season in Ghana has been cancelled after the Ghana FA Executive Council held a meeting on June 30 to decide the future of football in the country.
