Ghana defender James Opoku Nyimfah excelled in his competitive league debut for Societe Omnisports in their 2:2 stalemate with Williamsville Athletic Club on Saturday.
The 23-year old came off from bench in the second half to display a tantalizing performance for coach Lancine Pereira Kone side in their league opener.
It was a masterclass of performance from the former Bechem United towering center back in the titanic encounter at the Parc des Sports de Treichville.
Nyimfah joined the Ivorian league defending champions on a two-year deal from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United earlier this year and has already won his first trophy with the Yamoussoukro based club after beating San Pedro in the Super Cup final.
Societe Omnisports will face AS Tanda in the second league game after their CAF Champions League return fixture against Nouadhibou.
