Former Youth and Sports deputy Minister, O.B Amoah will be addressing key sports personalities and stakeholders during the Western Regional Sports Committee strategic workshop slated for Friday, May 31, 2019.

Hon. O.B Amoah who is the current deputy minister for the Local Government and Rural Development will be among the few guest speakers for the workshop which will be held at the WRCC Residency in Sekondi.
The workshop organized by the Western regional Sports Committee is themed ‘Awakening the Sports Economy in the Western region’.

About OB Amoah
Born in on August 15, 1961, Osei Bonsu Amoah is a Lawyer and the Member of Parliament for Akwapim South. He hails from the Aburi in the Eastern region.
In 1985, he graduated from the University of Ghana in Business Administration and also attained a Bachelor of Law from the Ghana School of Law in 1995.
He served as the Special Assistance at the Office of the President from 2002-2005 and later became the deputy Minister for Education and Sports from 2005-2008 under the President Agyekum Kuffour’s regime. He is currently the deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development.
