Former Ashgold Sporting Club head coach Kasim Gokyildiz has threatened to drag the Ghana Football Association to FIFA.

The Turkish trainer was sacked as the head coach of Ashgold Sporting Club after the GFA reported that he does not boast of a UEFA License A as he claimed before given the Ashgold job.
Gokyildiz after few hours of the GFA report, came out to deny the report, insisting that he has a UEFA License A certificate.
A statement from the Turkish Football Federation sent to Ghana Football Association confirmed that indeed Kasim Gokyildiz has a license A certificate which will expire in December 31, 2021.

However, the Turkish international has given the GFA a six days ultimatum to officially declare him as UEFA License A holder else will drag the GFA to the world football governing body FIFA.
“My license is accurate and waiting for the next level the GFA will make because they may be other clubs that needs my services.

“I’m given the GFA a six days ultimatum to officially declare that I have a valid license or report them to FIFA through my lawyer. I cannot understand what they have done, It has caused me my job. They have to do anything to clean my name again because they have destroyed and damaged my reputation.
“I wanted to continue my job with Ashgold but Mr Frederick Acheampong and Dr Kwaku Frimpong insisted on the statement from the GFA so I had no choice than to cancel the contract, I didn’t want to have any problem with the club”, Gokyildiz told Kumasi FM.
