Speaking at the Ghana FA 26th Ordinary Congress, Honorable Isaac Asiamah said, “football will bounce back in a bigger way. As a government, we consider football as not just for recreation for spectators but as an important tool for socio-economic development especially as an avenue for providing employment for the youth in Ghana.”

He added that, “government is of the view that football economy goes beyond the clubs, players, match officials and team managers but it extends to all Ghanaians who engage in economic activities of the game before, during and after matches. Ticket printers, hotels, transport and communication companies and sellers at match venues all benefit from the game.”
Honorable Isaac Asiamah however urged the Ghanaian football administrators to avoid damaging the football business since damaging the game makes it difficult for cooperate bodies to invest in it.
