Ghanaian female referee, Theresa Bremansu has mercilessly been beaten up by supporters of Prison Ladies during the first leg of the Normalization Committee’ Special Women’s Competition semi-final at Sunyani.
According to a reliable report reaching Kyfilla.com, the astute FIFA approved referee was severely assaulted by the angry fans of Prison Ladies for refusing to add ‘enough’ additional time during their semi-final game at home against Ampem Darkoa Ladies at Sunyani.
Reports says, Ampem Darkoa netted the opener and were delaying the game which angered the supporters of the Sunyani based side, where they started throwing insults at Bremansu (the center referee) for failing to caution the visitors for their ‘bad’ attitude and threatened to deal with her if their team failed to secure the three maximum points at home.
Just after the game has ended, the supporters of the home side rushed to the pitch to beat the hell out of the renowned female referee for letting their team beaten by Ampem Darkoa.
The angry supporters who were carrying stones and baboon sticks rushed the center referee and started beaten the hell out of her. She suffered bunch of hot slaps on her both cheeks and uncountable strokes of canes and was left nearly naked in the scorching sun.
She later had helps from some good Samaritans who managed to get her out of the playing grounds and drove her away.
It’s reported that, the security personnel on duty failed to make even a single arrest after the pathetic assault from the supporters on the female FIFA referee.
