Former Asante Kotoko striker Emmanuel Clottey has challenged the Porcupines to pay the $180,000 fine imposed on him by FIFA in 2015.
The 31-year old was fined $180,000 by the world’s football governing body in 2015, as a result of contract breaches against Tunisian side Esperance.
According to the Tunisian powerhouse, the center forward was having a running contract with them when he signed for Asante Kotoko in 2015 thus FIFA placing a fine on him for breach of contract.
But during a court hearing today, the former Berekum Chelsea marksman prayed to court to compel Asante Kotoko to pay the fine imposed on him by FIFA
The striker was also asking the court to make Asante Kotoko pay for the salaries and allowances he would have received within the period of his ban by FIFA.

Emmanuel Clottey previously played for Sekondi Eleven Wise, Tema Youth, Berekum Chelsea, Esperance de Tunis and Al Dhafra.
