Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey will be leaving English Premier League outfit Leicester City according to his manager Yusif Chibsah.
Amartey has been deemed surplus to requirements under Leicester City boss Breden Rodgers due to an injury which saw him missing most part of the English Premier League season.

The 25-year old has recovered from the injury but still deemed surplus to requirements.
Speaking to Star FM, Yusif Chibsah who manages the former FC Copenhagen defender disclosed that they are looking forward for new opportunities to solve the issue.
“Amartey has recovered and we are looking to find new opportunities for him. He’s been out of favour under the new gaffer so we will see how best we can solve that issue,” Chibsah told Starr Sports.

“He is still with the Foxes but he is not been getting more playing time due to the fact that he got injured but after his injury, they consider him as surplus so there should be a way out,” he added.
Amartey joined Leicester City in January 2016 on a four and half year contract around a fee of £6 million.
He has so far capped 46 times for the Foxes, scoring a single goal.
