Black Stars have intensified training ahead of a final pre-afcon tie against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Dubai.
Ghana will face off South Africa in a friendly on Saturday before both countries depart for the 32nd edition of the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges disgraceful lost to Namibia in their last pre-afcon friendly in Dubai and want to make amends by securing victory against the Bafana Bafana on Saturday to boost confidence.
Already Ghana’s squad has been pruned down to 23 with the likes of Abdul Majeed Warris, Mohammed Alhassan of Hearts of Oak, Kumasi Asante Kotoko talisman Abdul Fatawu Shafiu being axed.
Ghana has been pitted in group F alongside Benin, Guinea-Bassau and defending champions.
