Black Queens of Ghana have been sidelined by African football governing body CAF at this year’s African Games which will be held in Rabat- Morocco.
The Black Queens were not included in the grand draw for the games which was conducted on Monday, June 10, 2019 in Cairo-Egypt.
According to information in the media, Ghana’s Senior Women’s national team did not make the list of the qualified countries eligible to participate in the tournament.
Surprisingly, all the countries that partook the 2018 AWCON were selected excluding Ghana who hosted the tournament.
Report says, Ghana slot has been given to Morocco who are to host the 2019 edition of the African Games.
Meanwhile, the tournament has been scheduled for August, 2019.
