Black Stars general captain, Asamoah Gyan has held a successful meeting with head coach James Kwesi Appiah in Accra on Tuesday afternoon.
The Kayserispor attacker met the head coach of the Ghana National Senior team to repair the strains after being stripped off the captaincy armband.
Gyan was denounced the right as the Black Stars captain for the AFCON 2019 by the head coach but handed the general captain role.
The all time leading national team topscorer issued a statement that he has retired from the Black Stars but eventually rescinded his decision after the intervention of President Akufo-Addo.
According to report in the media, both parties have held a peaceful deliberations over the captaincy saga at the residence of the head coach, Kwesi Appiah in Accra.
Gyan will be making his seventh AFCON appearance should he make it to the final 23-member squad for the AFCON in Egypt next month.
