The President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has sent a congratulatory message to Gianni Infantino on his re-election as the FIFA President.
Infantino was re-elected as the FIFA President for the next four years during the 69th FIFA congress held in the capital of France, Paris.
President Akufo-Addo who hosted the Italian-Swiss administrator during his visit to Ghana in 2017, has sent his congratulatory message to Infantino on his re-appointment as the FIFA President till 2023.
“Warm congratulation to Gianni Infantino on his re-election as FIFA President at the 69th FIFA congress in Paris. It is thoroughly well-deserved and a vindication of his impressive stewardship of FIFA, thus far”, President Akufo-Addo posted on his official twitter page.
Infantino was re-elected as the 9th FIFA President of world football’s governing body on Wednesday having run unopposed as expected.
