The Black Stars have left their training base in Dubai en route to Egypt for the AFCON 2019 which commence today, June 21, 2019.
The team departed Dubai for Egypt earlier this morning and are expected to touch down in Cairo before midday.
Ghana will base in Ismailia for the group stages and are pitted in group F alongside Benin, Guinea-Bassau and Cameroon.
Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges will begin the hunt to end Ghana’s 37 years AFCON trophy drought against the Squirrels of Benin on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 before locking horns with defending champions Cameroon on June 29, 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium.
