Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored his first league goal for Swedish second tier side Trellesborgs FF as they beat Vesteraas SK 2-1 in the Superettan League today.
The 24-year old attacker netted the decider for the home side as they walked home as 2-1 winners.
Mattias Hakansson had the opener in the 11th minute of the cagey encounter before Safiu had the second goal in the 44th minute to register his first goal for the club in his first league start.
American Brian Span had the only consolation for Vasteras SK in the 83rd minute of the match.
Abdul Fatawu Safiu lasted the 90th minute and was replaced by Zoran Jovanovic.
