Kumasi Asante Kotoko talisman, Abdul Fatawu Shafiu says he is ready to join Accra Hearts of Oak should the Porcupines agree an offer from the Phobians.
According to Shafiu, if Hearts of Oak assembled an offer for his services and the management of Asante Kotoko accept the deal, he will have no option than to join the Continental Club Masters.
Speaking to Sheik Tophic in an interview, the former Techiman Eleven Wonders forward stated that ” I respect any club and am a footballer and if any club present a lucrative deal, I will go. If Hearts of Oak present a deal to Asante Kotoko management and they agree to release me, why not?, I will definitely go”, he said.
Abdul Fatawu was part of the Black Stars provisional 29-man list for the AFCON due to his spontaneous performance for Asante Kotoko in the NC Special Competition but was excluded in the final 23-man squad alongside Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhassan.
He has scored 8 goals for the Porcupine Warriors in the tier one of the NC Special Competition and he is expected to continue his form for the team in their semi-final clash against bitterest rival, Hearts of Oak in the NC Special Competition on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
