The Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei has insisted that there is no misunderstanding between himself and the head coach C.K Akonnor.
It was earlier reported in the media of a misunderstanding between himself and C.K Akonnor which has triggered the coach wanting to resign from the team.
In response to the earlier news, Dr. Kwame Kyei has disclosed the he had a talks with the technical head of the team concerning his player selection which he describes as a cordial discussions with both parties defending their argument.
” I spoke to the coach concerning his selection of players and it was cordial with both sides defending our points”, he said.
” There’s no such misunderstanding between myself and the coach.
He however, entreats supporters of the club to concentrate on their next game against Al Hilal Omdurman on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
” I will advise that fans of the club rather concentrate on our next match on Sunday.
