Nana Agyemang Badu II owner of Ghana Premier League defending champions Aduana Stars has released an amount of $25,000 to the playing body of the team for their performances in both CAF Champions League and the ongoing CAF Confederation Cups.
The amount was delivered at the Aban Paradise to the leadership of the playing body led by captain Yahaya Mohammed and his vice Paul Aidoo together with Emmanuel Akuoko, Joseph Addo and Elvis Opoku.
Nana Agyemang Badu II expressed his profound gratitude to the playing body for their exploit in the competition so far saying ‘’Am proud of you for your performance and I have absolute trust in you”.
He also appealed to the players to do well in the remaining two matches.
The captain of the team Yahaya Mohammed also thanked Nana Agyemang Badu II for the gesture and assured him of their maximum effort.
“We the playing body are very happy for this, we are surprised by this and Nana has shown how committed he is to the team.There is no football activities in the country and for this gesture, we are absolute relived”.
Meanwhile www.kyfilla.com understands that the players will share the aforesaid amount base on the number of matches with the highest pocketing $1200 with some also receiving $700 an $350.
Aduana Stars are currently sitting third in the group stages of the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup with 4 points and will play their remaining two matches against Asec Mimosas and Raja Casablanca.
