Philosophy
Roman philosopher Seneca once said: “Luck Is When Preparation Meets Opportunity”
His philosophy is to work with players, develop personal relationships and trust. “I don’t want to do transfers for sake of a transfer; I want to know the person, his or her circumstances in order to be able to judge what is best for the player. Player has got to be happy about the country/club he is about to join. Only then the player will perform at the best level possible, when the mind is free and there is nothing to worry about. It has got to be the right level at the right time. It is important to know where the player wants to be in a year, 5 or 10 years in order to choose the right strategy for his or her development. Both parties got to trust each other at a very highest level. There are unprofessionals in every industry but my dream is to reduce the amount of those stories where the player is transferred and never sees an agent again being left on his own to deal with things in a foreign country and culture. Those ruin the reputation of a beautiful profession of being an agent for everybody.
Georg is a strong believer that a good bond between the player and an agent is much more beneficial long term for a player’s career. The Gerry Maguire movie is a great example of a philosophy he live by.
Being always fascinated about Ghana Mr. Bikritski finds the culture and the mentality of people/players that come from this proud and beautiful country amazing. “They are hardworking, professional and got a lot to offer to the world of football”. I do not sell dreams. Transfer is a difficult task itself that requires a lot of dedication, time and effort, especially when we are talking about the transfer of a player from any African country but : “where there is a will there’s a way” they say. I like a good challenge. Not afraid of difficulties and positive about the future.[ads4]
“If I make one player happy then I will consider this project a successful one already. This one player might go and inspire thousands of kids to go and play football. Demonstrate that dreams do come true with the right attitude and determination. What else is there to wish for? Saying that, if there is one- there are two and three…
“I support strong family values and two of my best signings are my 2 and 11 year old kids.
Preparation is vital and that is why I am starting early to be ready for the summer transfer window.”
He has signed Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and William Opoku all formerly of Asante Kotoko, players who are great personalities and top professionals to work with.
The target is to recruit talents from Ghanian Premier League clubs aged 18-22 preferably. Or a top profiles that do stand out in the league. Got to keep the task realistic.[ads2]
He is also looking to make contacts at the clubs with the CEO’s, sporting directors and club presidents.
Would be interesting to work with the national team players that play in Ghana, even if they got other agents, I am open to collaboration. This is what this profession is all about.
The target is to come to Ghana and meet people in person when the situation eases and it is safe to do so. There is nothing better than a face to face meeting and a strong handshake.
