C.K Akonnor has stated emphatically that, it’s a privilege for him to work as Asante Kotoko head coach.
According to the astute tactician, it means alot to coach Kotoko especially to qualify the team to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup and promises to do his very best to achieve more with the club.
” It’s a privilege to work with Asante Kotoko and I will do my very best to achieve something with them”, he said.
He however disclosed that, the technical bench are effortlessly working on a plan to approach Al Hilal in the match-five of the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
” Al Hilal are a very good and a discipline side per their games I have watched and the technical team are working on a plan against them on Sunday”.
Akonnor concluded that, Asante Kotoko can only qualify from the group stages if they win their remaining two matches against Al Hilal, Zesco United and believes his charges are poised for the tasks ahead.
“We’ve to win our two matches only if we want to qualify to the next stage of the competition”, he concluded.
