Ex- Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Charles Taylor says he will never be grateful to the team since they imparted nothing in his football career.
According to the former Ghana Premier League legend, he has no problem with the Continental Club Masters even though they couldn’t make him rich so therefore the supporters of the club should stop threatening his life
“I’ve no problem with Hearts of oak. What has Hearts of oak done for me to be grateful to them. Did they build a house for me ? He told Happy FM.
Taylor however responded below to an audio circulating in the media which is believed to have been a fan of Hearts of Oak threatening him not to step foot at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday during Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak oldies friendly.
” The man threatened to kill me if I come to the Accra sports Stadium on Wednesday so I reported the case to the Teshie Police station.
” I will be at the Accra sports Stadium and I will play for Accra Hearts of oak against Kotoko on Wednesday because I have been training with Hearts of Oak all the time and I won’t run away definitely I shall be there tomorrow. He is a “stupid police officer”
” Unfortunately my phone didn’t record the conversation, there’s more to the tape that is making rounds, it is not the full conversation.
” The man added text messages apart from the phone call and I was at the police station when he was texting me all those nonsensical threats in the presence of the police.
” I have not insulted anyone so why should Hearts of oak supporters call me names ? I am not afraid of anybody. I will be at the stadium on Wednesday to play for them whether they give me a jersey or not.
