The Kumasi Sports Authority has asked Asante Kotoko to change kickoff time for their clash against Al Hilal at the Baba Yara Sports.
Kotoko appealed to CAF through the Normalization Committee to change the kickoff time for their home matches to 4:00PM instead of 1:00PM.
CAF however accepted the plea, changed the kickoff matches of the group stages to what the management of the Porcupines proposed through the GFA Normalization Committee.
However, report developing in the media indicates, the Sports Authority in Kumasi has told Asante Kotoko to change the kickoff time with the Sudanese giant on Sunday to 3:00PM instead of 4:00PM.
According to report gathered, the floodlights as well as the scoreboard are malfunctioning and cannot be repaired within the few days to kickoff after pocketing close to GHC 10,000 from the team’s CAF Confederation Cup home matches as maintenance charges.
