Black Stars first assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko who has been given the responsibility as the head coach for Black Meteors has invited 22 players to face Togo in the Africa U-23 championship qualifier.
Ghana will face Togo in a two legged tie in the first round of the Africa U-23 championship qualifier which will be hosted by Egypt.
Kyfilla.com understands, the invited players are to report at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram on Friday 30th November,2018.
The winner of the clash automatically qualifiers to the next stage of the competition to face countries such as Nigeria, Congo, Senegal and South Africa that have been drawn bye for the second round.
Only seven countries would join host Egypt for the 2019 Africa U-23 championship with the first three teams to represent Africa at the 2020 Olympic Games which will be stage in Tokyo.
Ghana has not qualified for the Olympic games since the format for qualification to the quadrennial competition was changed and are determined to get a maiden qualification to the competition.
