The Black Stars of Ghana have beaten South Africa in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Thursday evening.

Goals from Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus were enough as the Black Stars defeated the Bafana Bafana in their first outing in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers today.
Ghana started the game very well with Jordan Ayew, Alfred Duncan tormenting the defence of the South Africans.
Midfielder Thomas Partey shot Ghana to the lead with a thunderbolt strike in the 35th minute to end the first half of the match.

Coach Kwesi Appiah’ side returned from the break to enjoy much of the possession, with Jordan Ayew, Emmanuel Boateng creating glaring opportunities but failed to utilize them.
Substitute Mohammed Kudus doubled the lead for Ghana in the 79th minute of the match to end the game.
Ghana will travel to São Tome and Principe to face them in the second game of the qualifiers on Monday, November 18, 2019.
