English Premier League outfit Southampton FC has reportedly joined the race to sign Ghanaian defender Alexander Djiku.[ads2]
The 28-year old has attracted huge interest from Southampton following his exceptional performance for FC Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1.
Reports in England indicate that Southampton have submitted a bid to FC Strasbourg for the dependable defender who is currently on the wanted list of some clubs in the major European leagues.[ads3]
