Ghana Premier league outfit Karela United have bolster their squad for the upcoming league season.
The Ayinase-based club have made fifteen new signings to their squad in the transfer window as the new league season beckons.[ads2]
The Pride and Passion lads appointed a new head coach in the person of Bismark Kobi Mensah after the sacking of coach Evans Adotey.
Kobi Mensah joined Karela United after successful stints with division one league outfit FC Samartex.
He joined Karela United with his assistant coach Angelo Dedon who he worked with at Nzema Kotoko and FC Samartex.[ads3]
After changes in the technical bench, Karela United went ahead to sign fifteen new players to strengthen squad for the 2021/22 Ghana Premier league season.
Former Asante Kotoko winger Matthew Kelvin Andoh joined the club in the transfer window after weeks of trials same as Sekondi Hasaacas talisman Philip Flamini.
Former Skyy FC defensive midfielder Ebenezer Ocran has also joined the club.[ads4]
The club’s former left-back Patrick Yeboah who joined Asante Kotoko has also made a return to the club ahead of the upcoming league season.
The rest of the players are Atta Kumi, George Amonoo, Owusu Boakye, Kingsford Opoku, Mohammed Ayaba, Daniel Kwoffie, Emmanuel Anaful, Christopher Bonney, Aziz Dogo, Isaac Donkoh and Rashid Seidu.
Meanwhile, Karela United have also lost couple of players which include talisman Diawisie Taylor who has joined an Egyptian top-flight side after winning the Ghana Premier league topscorer award last season.[ads5]
