Asante Kotoko failed to make it five wins in five matches this season as they were held by Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday.
Karela United dominated Asante Kotoko throughout the game but both sides failed to find the net of each other as the game ended goalless.[ads2]
The Porcupines had resort to a defensive approach after midfielder Richard Boadu was sent off in the 63rd minute for a bad foul.
Karela United nearly had the opener in the 85th minute but goalkeeper Razak Abalora managed to salvage the situation for Kotoko.[ads3]
Despite the game ending in a stalemate, Asante Kotoko still lead the table, three more points ahead of second-placed King Faisal.
